Accessible Seating

In the Pantages Concert Hall, ADA Seating is available on the Main level and between the Loge and Mezzanine in row GG at all concerts. To purchase online, choose the concert you are interested in, click ‘Buy Tickets’ and look for the wheelchair symbols on the seat map. To order by phone, please call the Ticket Office at 253-272-7264 x1 Monday – Friday 11 am – 5 pm & in-person two hours prior to concerts. Or email tickets@symphonytacoma.org.

Wheelchair accessible seating is reserved for the exclusive use of individuals with disabilities who require these types of features for seating. The purchase or use of these accessible seating locations by non-disabled individuals is strictly prohibited.

Accessible Entrances

Entry into the Pantages Theater is fully accessible. Curbside drop-off zones are located in front of the building on Broadway.

Elevators

Accessible seating in row GG between the Loge and Mezzanine levels can be reached by the elevator located in the Jones Lobby.

Scooters

Scooters are allowed in designated seating areas. See our seating chart to view seats that have the wheelchair icon.

To ensure that emergency egress remains unimpeded, scooters are not allowed to rest in the aisles of the theater. Anyone transferring to a theatre seat is encouraged to transfer to a wheelchair in the lobby before entering the theater.

Accessible Restrooms

Accessible bathrooms are available on the 3rd floor and can be accessed via the elevator in the Jones Lobby.

Assistive Listening Devices

Assistive Listening Devices are available for performances at the House Manager’s podium in the main lobby prior to and during performances. Sound from the stage is broadcast directly to you by our in-house listening system. This service is provided free of charge. A piece of identification will be held at the House Manager’s podium while you’re using the device.

Emergency Evacuation

In the event of an emergency evacuation, an usher or other staff person will be available to assist you in exiting the theater safely, as needed, including bringing any mobility devices you use to your seat. If the emergency evacuation route cannot be taken due to mobility concerns, an usher will escort you to the nearest elevator location to wait for emergency personnel.

If you use a wheelchair or scooter and transfer to a permanent seat, your device will be moved by a volunteer usher to a lobby space as close as possible, out of the way of emergency evacuation routes. If items such as crutches, folding walkers, or canes can fit safely in an area close by, then they will be stowed nearby. Otherwise, these items will be moved by a volunteer usher to a lobby space as close as possible, out of the way of emergency evacuation routes.
